TLDR version: the Bluesky moderation team has recently been caught in a series of bad decisions (permabans for stuff that doesn't violate the TOS, temporarily taking down moderation lists to block transphobia, and so on), all while the CEO had a weird meltdown this past weekend involving...waffles.

A major part of it comes down to online book marketing tag systems not having built-in distinctions between "contains X" and "is about X as a topic".

Not the first time I've seen similar debates. (Although usually it's about the broader topic of romance as genre versus plot element, so...)

Just seemed to me like more people were looking to pick fights instead of actually establish communication (and yes, this does very much also apply to the person behind the bundle).

As a cishet man (thus someone whose opinion will irritate everyone equally) not involved* with the whole Swords & Sapphics...thing, it really comes off as a case of people heavily opposed to biphobia and people heavily opposed to transphobia rudely yelling at each other.
