Courts have been clear: the First Amendment protects criticism of military operations, criticism of the president, anti-war speech, whistleblowing, and protests, even the loud, uncomfortable ones. And frankly, if we’re talking about influencing the military, we can certainly say that the video reminding service members they must refuse illegal orders (like being told to fire on shipwreck survivors) is still firmly intact. That’s not disloyalty; that’s literally military law.
