Holy crap. The DOJ is arguing that the President can unilaterally deport anyone he wants without ANY statutory authority, just on his inherent authority as President over national security.
That is a terrifying claim to make and not one that has ever been recognized before in US history.

Once again I am begging journalists to learn the difference between "smuggling" and "trafficking". This is very clearly a case of human trafficking. The two words are not interchangeable, and the outcomes of each can be very different. This also goes for #r4today, who get it wrong more than most.
