I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

first they came for trans people and i wasn’t quiet, i spoke up, i said “are you really going to die on this hill? there’s an election to win!” because i am not trans.
If he ends up being the Democrat on the presidential ticket in 2028, you would rather vote republican or not vote at all because of this issue?? That’s the million dollar question. Not the hill I would die on and def not worth losing an election over!
