Fuck all of you saying "this is inevitable" or "it's here deal with it" or even "it's fine"/"it's not a big deal". Be antihuman on your own time. This is a moveable needle. It's ruining lives (mine included already), ruining the environment, ruining art and creativity, isn't needed and isn't wanted.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

The earliest anime I remember was either Battle of the Planets, Samurai Pizza Cats or Sailor Moon. The earliest anime that wasn't edited to be made NA-kid-friendly was probably Ranma 1/2 or Armitage III, rented from Blockbuster.

Explain a game you love:

Play a high-schooler-by-day, Phantom-Thief-by-night who enters the collective subconscious of society to steal the hearts of... some MASSIVE pieces of shits. No, seriously, these assholes really have it coming. Also, the most evil interpretation of Lupin EVER.

Dear god. If you live in Tukwila, Renton, Kent or Auburn WA in the valley, a levee just broke. 40k are on GO NOW orders. Please share and get ahold of your people. This is terrifying. www.kiro7.com/news/local/l...

A levee has failed on the Green River, and people who are in low-lying areas of Kent, Renton, and Tukwila should move to higher ground immediately.

I miss Zellers and their electronics department with obscure boxed PC games. London Drugs used to have their Wall-O-Jewel Cases, but it just wasn't the same. I found out about Paradox Software and Nival Interactive (Etherlords series) thanks to them.

Sam Altman: hey I made a machine that stole literally all your stuff in order to make CSAM of your child actors, sometimes it encourages people to kill themselves

Disney: Holy shit here's a billion dollars

Altman: the machine loses more than that each week but thank you. Soon it will become god.

I finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon last night, and now I'm faced with the eternal dilemma that always arises.

What do I play next?

I'm leaning towards:

Raidou Remastered
SMT V Vengeance
Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven

Thoughts?

I finished the Star Trek: Destiny trilogy today.

Holy crap, I can see why it's on so many people's "Recommended Star Trek novels" list.

I have discovered the joy that is Smiling Friends. We've finished season 1 and are starting on season 2. Its just... about a couple of guys who's job is to make people smile. Also, it has some of the most realistic conversations I've ever seen in any program.

Any Star Trek nerds out there that can recommend good Star Trek novels/series to pick up? I've been hankering for the lighter, more utopian vibe compared to my usual sci-fi setting (40k). I've already picked up the Discovery trilogy.
