SNAP has existed for 60 years. Benefits have gone out every single month over those six decades, including during government shutdowns. Until now.

Make no mistake: The money is available to fund SNAP during this shutdown. Trump is making a choice to withhold it.

Don’t forget this.

If Trump really wanted to sanction Putin, he could. It would be no problem. Congress would go for any sanction he wanted. So any time Trump puts a condition on sanctions, it’s just another piece of evidence that he is protecting Putin from sanctions and helping Russia in the war.

AXIOS: Inflation ticks up to the highest since '21. Manufacturing shrank 6 months running. Unemployed workers exceeding jobs. If Biden had numbers like that, you'd be on Fox saying, 'What's going on'?

LUTNICK: So, the economy that Trump owns starts at the end of this year

A: Doesn't work that way!

In all seriousness, I'd love to see a reporter try to get comments from all of these people about their initial impulse to declare a literal war on half of their fellow citizens and to see if any of them regret it, apologized for it or learned anything at all from it.
like this is the most irresponsible level of hysteria i’ve ever seen. most of these people are either paid by the republican party, or are high level advisors and allies. this is insane

After Charlie Kirk's death, teachers and professors nationwide fired or disciplined over social media posts
