When the history of this cruel era is written, the shame should be no less than the shame we now feel about the roundups and detention of Japanese Americans in World War II. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-brazen-cruelty-of-the-trump-regime

No wonder the resident Trump propagandist at CBS didn't want us to see this. It is horrific and shows how deeply lawless and depraved the Trump/Miller administration is.

Did my biannual sexual harassment training today. Thinking about how 47 denigrates women publically, calling them “piggy” and “dumb”. This would not be tolerated in my workplace.

Make no mistake: Lawmakers can take action now to stop this carnage and trauma. They are choosing not to—yet again.

If you’re looking for something to do, start working on overturning citizens united in your state. States control the power corporations have. Take their political power away with a ballot initiative. Here’s how: open.substack.com/pub/robertre...
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

Agreed. Private equity out of healthcare!
This shady deal was BLOCKED.

A private equity company tried to abuse the bankruptcy system to slither out of paying what they owe to seniors neglected in its nursing homes.

We stayed in the fight and the deal was blocked.

Next, we need PE out of health care altogether.

I’m not a fan of Insurance companies, but letting the subsidies lapse just means people lose access to healthcare.
Donald Trump's lapdog Republicans in the U.S. Senate just overwhelmingly voted to let health insurance costs skyrocket.

Jaw-dropping levels of cowardice and neglect.
BREAKING: The Senate rejected dueling health care bills, virtually guaranteeing Obamacare subsidies will lapse for over 20 million Americans.

📖We are often asked where you can find reliable vaccine information. It breaks our hearts to say it, but it’s no longer at CDC

The vaccine integrity project is a great source & has compiled recommendations from medical societies into 1 place for easier reference:

Yes. We must extend the ACA tax credits so that over 20 million Americans don't see a doubling in their health premiums, on average. But we must do more. We cannot remain the only major country not to guarantee health care for all as a human right.

We must pass Medicare for All.

A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family.

Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones.

I hope you’ll join me.
