And, look, if the complaint is that emergency vehicles can't get through now that Court St has been reduced to one motor vehicle lane, then in order to be consistent you need to argue for removing parking on every side street in the city, most of which are one lane. Those are the rules!

A scary incident occurred at the Jay St Metrotech Station when a track fire caused the station to fill with smoke.

The @fdny.bsky.social response was delayed due to illegally parked vehicles on Jay St. They couldn't even access the curb due to @nypdnews.bsky.social vehicles parked at a bus stop.

Around 11:30 p.m. last night, Mayor Adams' office announced he's going to Albania this week.

On "day one" of his trip, Adams is meeting with the country's prime minister and will also "visit local businesses and factories."

At event in DC, Sen. Chris Van Hollen keeps it going with Hakeem
Jeffries over not endorsing @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social: if you can’t back the kind of campaign he ran, “don’t ask those young people to show up for other Democrats across the country — that’s the message that will be sent.”

I'm not live-skeeting the Mets game, but Pete Alonso is amazing. I don’t know why Steve Cohen hasn't already driven a Brink's truck up to his apartment and told Pete to just unload whatever he needs.
