absolutely breathtaking levels of “reframe punching up as punching down” are emerging in AI discourse. fighting back against AI is us against billion dollar tech companies, yet they are pulling out so many wild rhetorical tricks to make it seem like the anti-AI movement are the powerful bullies here

To be accurate, the OP *has* spoken out against it and people are *still* being antisemitic in her comments. And that's the point. No amount of Jews speaking out against what Israel is doing seems to stop the antisemitism.

Never forget that chemical warfare including tear gas is not only illegal in actual war, but carries powerfully damaging chemicals including abortifacients that can cause lasting harm to people's reproductive cycles.

Please don't forget that the statement "humans all deserve care for their whole body and mind throughout their lives" is not controversial. It's just honoring the precious thing that is the human experience.

As I post this, I realize how this sounds in a country where dental and vision care isn't considered "healthcare" but something altogether different. We gave up on our rights to care in so many ways already.

God, I hate the way things function in this country.
