"I’m tired of seeing Steve Bannon in my newsfeed. Every three months, he utters something with zombie gravitas, and too many otherwise reasonable people take him seriously, so anxiety-riddled as they are from the past ten years of political trauma."
Please Stop Listening to Steve Bannon
He isn't worth the trouble.

My cousin’s son attends Association. He is ok. My heart is not. We are a broken, broken world.

Am I the only one who is underwhelmed by the Paul McCartney announcement at US Bank Stadium?

Ok there’s no storm and I just watched Xcel Energy cut the power to my house to make some repair across the alley. Hey folks, how about a heads up next time? I was cooking dinner 😡

The sauciest, thickest gravied chicken chow mein over white rice and chicken wings I can’t even describe from Asia Chow Mein in Columbia Heights. No one holds a candle.
I don't want to hear about your lost loves, tell me about the restaurant food that haunts you because you'll never be able to taste it again

Tomorrow, February 28, let’s disrupt the status quo by spending ONLY at businesses that uplift our communities.

That means:
🚫 No gas from corporate giants
🚫 No fast food chains
🚫 No big-box retailers (Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

Loved everything about SNL 50 tonight. A few weak moments but overall a lot of fun. I just got the stupid Domingo song out of my head only to get it back again though 🤣

All of the SNL anniversary stuff has been so good. Streaming the Homecoming concert. So great. Find the bright spots.

My sliver of light in this hell hole, my husband ordered me cookies from Brady’s Bakery (shipped from CA) for Valentine’s Day and they are the best cookies I’ve ever had. I’m in love. With the cookies. And I guess he’s ok too 😉

Eagles in the Super Bowl means it’s a very exciting night for Robert DeNiro’s character in Silver Linings Playbook, who I’m sure is watching at home.

Highly recommend downloading the Goods Unite Us app - they breakdown where brands donated (or if they chose to stay out of politics) for the election and it’s very eye opening. I am glad many of my favorites are ok, but others I have to cut ties with.
