60 minutes CECOT segment. Recorded through my browser. HD quality. Not phone. Spread it around. If you're press, it's yours. Go nuts.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

i'm still confused about how antisocial all the qrts on the op were. a perplexing number of insinuations along the lines of "i'm tired after work, therefore the concept of having friends and the existence of online multiplayer anything ever is the disease at the core of the human psyche"
this website is a multiplayer dick-waving contest. too many of y'all are acting like socializing is designed to inconvenience you personally
i stand by this statement every year

my dog sometimes climbs onto our bed and flops around yelping like he's hurt, and we asked the vet if it was anything to be concerned about

he was diagnosed with being a husky mix

My love for em dashes is as old as the hills and as mighty as my inability to make a transition between thoughts literally any other way and I will be damned if I let the clankers take that from me

i have written multiple papers on the subject of leavening and i was still today years old when i discovered baker's ammonia was originally derived from deer antlers

i learned about this a while back and it's been rotting in my brain ever since. such a disservice to kids. it's not that they don't like reading on its own merits; it's that the way they were taught to read makes the cognitive load way higher than it ever needed to be
ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

Nuremburg trials is the moderate position
He said that the agents would throw food at them to eat. The agents threatened to withhold food for a week and to beat him up if he didn't sign deportation papers. He said he saw others refuse and get beaten/receive no food. He signed because he was afraid.

the boss saying "our employees were mean to me, the smol bean head of human resources" is unfortunately a tale as old as time, and i hope condé nast eats shit for it
New: Conde Nast fired four employees who were among a group that confronted the company's head of human resources on Wednesday over the decision to fold Teen Vogue into Vogue/recent cuts. Employees who were fired included journalists from the New Yorker, Wired, and Bon Appétit.

i'm not a primitivist by any stretch, but a part of me does yearn for the simplicity of a world where you could win a genre-defining argument by plucking a chicken

"I wish him the best in private life and may tonight be the last time I utter his name" is both unassailable tact and an absolute thrashing for a man with a Tantalus-grade thirst for attention
I love that Zohran did not praise Cuomo in his speech. You absolutely do not have to say nice things about bad people. We should normalize that in “polite” politics: Praising bad people is not actually “civility.”

i'm genuinely a little concerned about your lack of reading comprehension
"Torment Nexus" comes from this tweet and is often used now to describe the kind of negative experiences you can have with social networks, like getting dogpiled or harassed or being pushed into conflict

you're not a journalist, you're a cut-rate podcaster whose best service to the world would be finding another career
My job is to ask questions — not to take sides. Congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh ended our interview when I asked about her indictment over an ICE protest.

No the fuck there isn't. "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice" is clear as fucking daylight in both form and intent. Even hardline originalists would dismiss it; this is an unhinged textualist pretzel that doesn't deserve a single ounce of water carried for it

top notch journalism here

also "i strongly suggest dropping this story" seems like the worst thing you could possibly say to an investigative journalist. even the most casual observer would smell blood in the water

i don't think graham platner is a secret Nazi.

i do think his response to folks discovering that he got a Totenkopf tattoo and lied about it suggests he would demand we gloss over things that should rightly demand accountability.

i don't think that sort of person should be leading anything

true! public transit also teaches you that some things are just none of your business
i think if you ride public transit enough you learn that most weird behavior is not dangerous, and conversely i think driving a car teaches you that everyone is trying to kill you at all times
