Finally got around to playing the Ministry of Lost Things #1 by @postcurious.bsky.social - amazing puzzles in a tiny package with the most delightful theming. Can't wait for number 2! (You should go buy it if you haven't already)

New low in middle school. I've had to debunk willfully idiotic children before who think the Earth is flat. This time their argument was "Well, my mom thinks so too!"
And I know the argument that parents need to take tests to have kids is bad and eugenicist and ick but like COME ON WHO LET YOU?

PSA that @jonathangee.bsky.social is an absolutely fucking incredible artist and i cannot possibly recommend him highly enough if you need art for ANYTHING. 80s genre fiction black and white linework? he's got it. vector art for fancy card frames? yeah. also he can just read minds, which is neat?

I have not had students this *good* (wholesome, amazing humans) in six years. It is opening night of the musical and I am already sad that it's almost over. It's so nice to just completely love my job again. (Minus the decisions from D. o.)

I have a really hard time existing at work. Mostly because there are serious problems with my district and I have to be "Union Strong" with people that don't believe in children, because we have to present a united front against administration that are attempting to drown us in needless busywork.
