I feel like either you can smoke tobacco or weed and still be hireable or you shouldn’t be hireable for either. If weed is a fireable offense, then tobacco should be too. Or alternatively (and preferably) just let people have jobs and smoke weed in states where it’s legal

ICE is rooted in the American History of the slave catchers. It is important to be aware that America has been like this for black, Latinx, and indigenous people forever. It is, however, also important to recognize that they are being used like the Gestapo, to kill or silence political opposition.

DHS doesn’t even bother trying to lie well. The man whose skull was shattered told the hospital he’d been struck by ICE officers, an ICE officer told hospital staff the guy “got his sh*t rocked,” then when it became clear how badly he was injured, they claimed he deliberately ran into a wall.
