This is not a good move. If Greenland falls, Canada is next. Canada needs to stand with Europe so that if the time comes, they will stand with us.

Canadian troops won’t be joining European military force in Greenland
Small numbers of troops from European countries — including Denmark, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Britain — are being deployed to the Arctic island.

Alberta should have diversified our economy a long time ago

But that's impossible when we have a oil lobbyist in charge who has a side hustle as premier

#ableg #abpoli
Trump-loving Alberta Conservatives take note. US access to Venezuelan oil will kill your industry with raw product cheaper to transport and no technical processing changes. #cdnpoli #ableg

This isn’t about “saving alberta”.

The same folks pushing separation to save Alberta from “Canada’ collapse” are also advocating for Quebec to leave Canada.

This isn’t about Alberta.

It’s about destabilizing and destroying Canada.

I agree with Eby: no way do I want my tax dollars to pay for a pipeline. If it's such a great idea, let big oil pay for it. If Alberta want to pipe more bitumen to the coast, increase the capacity of Trans Mountain first, preferably not on the taxpayers' dime. www.ctvnews.ca/politics/art...
Eby tells Carney it was ‘unacceptable’ for B.C. to be excluded in proposed pipeline talks
B.C. Premier David Eby says he wants any potential energy deal between Alberta and the federal government to include a cap, or potentially a ban, on the use of taxpayers’ dollars to build a pipeline.

In the "No sh**, Sherlock!" category is the finding that for-profit healthcare services result in worse outcomes. Just witness the pandemic COVID mortality in Ontario for-profit vs. municipally run long term care facilities. Profit seeking = cutting corners. www.ctvnews.ca/montreal/art...
Experts concerned that privatization of health care could increase mortality rates
Experts are concerned about the direction Quebec is taking by increasingly turning to the private sector to provide care to the population (care that is often publicly funded).
