It's not good, to put it mildly, that the outcomes of employment tribunals involving trans people now entirely come down to the ideological leanings of the judge involved. There is no clear law underpinning this at all. Everyone is improvising.

This "open borders" line is *infuriating* - these people came here to study or work, because they had a uni place or a job to come to. They paid visa fees, student fees, NHS surcharge - and many of them are doing challenging and important work - staffing our care homes, for example, including Mum's.

This mansion tax is *far* more extensive than the Westminster equivalent, which only kicks in on homes that are £2m+, which are much rarer than homes between £1-2m.
