People say DOGE "failed", but to be fair DOGE successfully stole every American taxpayers data & personal information & had access to pretty much EVERY government system and likely shared that data with foreign entities. IDK that I'd say failed exactly, being they did everything that was intended.

Our hyper fast world devaluing education and individuality & exploration over rote job training, the erosion of basically every child-friendly venue that isn't video games (and even those are going) over things like fear mongering anti-gang laws etc, also puts them under immense scrutiny as well.
my too-hot-for-top-level take is that a big chunk of this stuff is down to reduced family size, because fewer kids means more pressure on each individual kid to be Normal
