PSA: 'quishing' is a scam that uses QR codes to redirect you to a scam site to obtain your financial info.

Scammers will put QR stickers over legitimate ones, so even QR codes on reputable ads are dangerous.

What's needed:
a code BOTH humans & machines can read.
So we invented it... in 1956.
Please don't scan this. It's a joke QR code with a skull and cross-bones in the middle.

🔭 Northern Fox Fires

In a Finnish myth, when an arctic fox runs so fast that its bushy tail brushes the mountains, flaming sparks are cast into the heavens creating the northern lights. In fact the Finnish word "revontulet", a name for the aurora borealis or northern lights, can be translated as fire fox. So that evocative myth took on a special significance for the photographer of this northern night skyscape from Finnish Lapland near Kilpisjarvi Lake. The snowy scene is illuminated by moonlight. Saana, an iconic fell or mountain of Lapland, rises at the right in the background. But as the beautiful nothern lights danced overhead, the wild fire fox in the foreground enthusiastically ran around the photographer and his equipment, making it difficult to capture in this lucky single shot.

Was hearing friends on Discord comms talking about "Silencer 2 Blueprints" in Arc and realized games need to come up with better muzzle tech.

Introducing: The Recorder. Delight and Surprise your opponents with a jaunty melody for their last living memory.
A Sig Sauer 9mm pistol with a silencer mounted to the front of it. A Black and ivory recorder (wind instrument) is shooped over the silencer so it appears to be the muzzle attachment, as if bullets would be sent from the mouthpiece out the end of the bottom of it.

They are losing experienced staff and favouring juniors using AI. And that means only one thing. Rapidly accumulated tech debt.
