I don't think AI will ever fully go away again however when it comes to the hyperscaler focused US-american AI industry with "Open"AI, etc. I actually think it's possible it could go away again

The negative environmental impact of AI use alone is enough to never use it. Most of us have issues with it destroying everything. Its also theft. Its dumbing down the population so quickly. Most of us are critical because of real issues.

It’s easier to pick out GenAI as the reason why so many jobs are disappearing than realize that massive companies were given interest-free money until 2020-22, and now that the pipe has dried up, are blaming both people and technology for why they have to slash jobs
