This weekends project.. plant up the new border extension. I laid out and mulched the grass with cardboard and bark chip (so smelly)... Some of this years spring bulbs and a few , to be decided , herbaceous perennials. #GardenersWorld #ShoutyHalfHour

A High Court judgment which blocked a proposed 6-month trial of a cycle route on Strand Road in Sandymount in Dublin has today been overturned by the Court of Appeal. The project included making the road one-way for cars. The judgment was delivered today after a long wait when the Court of Appeal reserved judgment in February 2023. The High Court ruling, which was appealed by Dublin City Council, had been in favour of Peter Carvill, of the Serpentine Avenue, Tritonville and Claremont Roads (STC) group, and Cllr Mannix Flynn (independent).

The Court of Appeal has ruled in Dublin City Council's favour in the Strand Road cycle route case. This case had the potential to further delay and increase the costs of a lot of small infrastructure projects. A very good decision!

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.
