You don’t need your polling card to vote. As long as you are on the register (check here: checktheregister.ie) you can vote. So if it got lost in the post or you forgot it, don’t panic. They have the full list at your polling station. Just bring ID.

My son had the same problem trying to get a medical card ect, no fixed address & gov departments won't accept a temp address. So if you don't have a rental agreement or a bill - you can't access any State services, no matter how in need you are. The system is terrible and needs to change. #GE24
My fiancée was unrecorded homeless for 5 years, no fix address, on and off job, and now the social welfare are demanding evidence of things we don't have asking for Social Housing help.
The systems literally are made to make as many folks fall through cracks as they can 😤

Publishing the watered down, heavily manipulated and yet absolutely shameful homelessness figures in advance of #GE2024 risks exposing our watery-like rhetoric, societally manipulative behaviour and shameful record in tackling homelessness.
