Epstein: Too important to ignore. Yet it’s the perfect distraction, to keep much of the country’s political energy on the scandal, so that the “government,” with corporations and the wealthy class, can continue to screw the American people over in the later stages of capitalism.
The GOP is trying to sneak legislation into a bigger bill that would preempt state laws around the regulation of AI, and create a national environment with very little regulation of the technology.

Huge shoutout to @90for90.bsky.social who recruited to give every district a Democrat to vote for, and with @charlesgaba.com raised enough money that the 27 in the most Red districts had at least $5000 to work with.
IMO Jay Jones owes his victory to the turnout their efforts generated.
