A BU College GOP leader bragged about calling ICE “for months” and took credit for a raid that detained nine car-wash workers who all had valid work permits, then called them “criminals.” What a garbage human Zac Segal is and an embarrassment to Boston.

Right-to-repair laws should include right to replace proprietary code with open source code.

I've got a 15 year old Samsung tablet computer with perfectly functioning hardware that could be used for practical purposes with new code.

I hate to break it to the UK government, but *every* new car, bus and truck could be remotely bricked: by the maker being compelled to do so, or even by nefarious nation state level hackers exploiting vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and vehicle control systems.

A RI judge has ordered the Trump administration to deliver SNAP payments in full by Friday, saying the evidence shows that “needless suffering will occur.” It is unbelievable that the GOP is fighting this hard to ensure Americans will go hungry.

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

TN-7 nominee @aftynbehn.bsky.social tells us Johnson plans for Van Epps to help him cover up the Epstein files. (His weak answer to NC5 is another clue🕵️ )

Q1 2026 we'll mostly focus on public, academic and school libraries.

We'll provide a built-in list of libraries that users can browse, search and borrow ebooks/audiobooks from.

For the rest of the year, we're focusing on providing a great reading and listening experience.

Among other things, this means adding support for synchronized text and audio (either pre-recorded audio with Media Overlays or TTS).

Three weeks ago, we sent the first invites for the private beta of Thorium Mobile on iOS to an initial batch of fifty testers.

We're still months away from a 1.0 release but we're very happy with the feedback so far.

If you're interested to test it as well, we'll invite more people in January.

The Nazis called people who needed assistance ‘useless eaters’, and in turning off SNAP, this regime is doing the exact same thing

The “useless eater” rhetoric has been used time and time again to target disabled people, and they will suffer without SNAP.
No One "Deserves" to Starve
SNAP funding is set to expire at the end of the month, meaning 42 million Americans will go hungry. A large percentage of those on SNAP are disabled, and many won't be able to stand in a bread line.

The USDA is the fail safe for SNAP.

They have a contingency fund to ensure it’s covered in the event of a shutdown.

They’re refusing.

Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.

Starvation as a policy choice.
