On this day in 2014 I received my "activity summary" from a hospital adventure. Total cost: $67,670.44. The ambulance ride alone was $4,000 and pharmacy charge was $19,300.18. With insurance, I owed $540.00. If I hadn't had insurance, I'd have filed for bankruptcy. Love US healthcare.
