We’re in the golden age of people somehow getting deals despite their upsetting past. Is any, *any*, of that work good? Is there one notable example of that in the last decade?

Stephen Miller says Afghan immigrant Rahmanullah Lakanwal was incapable of assimilating to American culture. But a factcheck shows that Lakanwal used a gun to assault and kill multiple innocent people. Four Pinocchios.

A reminder that there are some REALLY old A320s out there. One of Braniff's is apparently still flying!

(Not this one though, which was WFU in 2014.)

Very excited my drive report on an important new #EV is now live. This was in the works for a while after Oshkosh was kind enough to let us drive a very early prototype of their Next Generation Delivery Vehicle.

You'll soon see these throughout the U.S. as USPS renews its aged fleet. Watch for 'em!

I was out and busy so didn't have time to think about the Aston Martin thing

But initial reaction is thank fuck it's not Horner and I feel like Newey has been doing leadership for a while anyway so perhaps it'll be a decent shift up.

I parked a block away from the Trader Joe’s to walk past the people fighting for spots designed like Austin Powers’ teeth. I am tired of Earth. These people. I am tired of being caught in the tangle of their lives.

Are we getting a Kia EV4 in the U.S.? A Kia EV3? A Kia electric pickup?

We know automakers are feeling the tariff squeeze. Kudos to one of the brand's top U.S. execs for being blunt about the decisions it faces on EVs, prices, and everything.

This is 1980's Ferrocarril Pacifico, presumably "La Balla" (The Bullet) with the freshly purchased D&H 17 on the point, but ironically the PA isn't the rarest unit in the consist!

answer is great but also it's telling that the guy who's been saying this since day 1 has to answer about whether he's an antisemite for 5 min every interview while the same people grin vacantly at the jewish space lasers lady and call her a brave warrior
WELKER: What is your message to Jewish New Yorkers who feel you won't be tough enough in your response to antisemitism?

MAMDANI: That I am looking forward to being the next mayor and fulfilling the commitment I've made to Jewish New Yorkers to not only protect them but to celebrate and cherish them
