"Republicans will never allow articles of impeachment to be brought to the floor of the House of Representatives, and we know that's the case."

This is a flat-out 100% lie from @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social and he knows it. Impeachment resolutions are privileged, they can force a vote at any time.
For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

It’s exhausting to keep demanding better from establishment Dems too beholden to capital to ever challenge the billionaire elite’s GOP puppets. We’re wasting time as our democracy crumbles into dust.

Instead, we should vote them out & replace them with reps who WILL vote to impeach Hegseth

This is Ricardo Salinas Pliego, Mexico’s oligarch, who has donated to Trump and is currently trying to overthrow the Mexican government to avoid paying taxes and a deeper money laundering investigation into his cartel tied casinos.

Rep Al Green from Texas is reintroducing articles of Impeachment against the criminal Donald Trump.

Green tried earlier this year but all other reps were too chickenshit to back him. Support him this time. Call your reps & tell them to join him. #3E #EndImpunity

According to @rooster.info, during a Zoom meeting today, he had an American nazi flag displayed in the background.

also can we please stop with the "I'm just telling the unpopular truth here, even though people will hate me for it" crap

Every time some boomer enviro loudly declares this it goes ultra-viral. It is a wildly popular soothing message that you don't need to change anything in your life.

Thread. The consequences of an ideology completely unmoored from physical or economic reality.
The energy provisions in the Republicans' One Big Horrible Bill are truly so bad! Who wants this? The country's automakers don't want it. Electric utilities don't want it. Data center developers don't want it. Manufacturers in energy intensive industries don't want it. 🔌💡

I was last there in 2018. I was in the West Bank/Ramallah/Bethlehem, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Eilat. We walked over the border from Jordan and drove from Eilat north. Saw a lot.

I get annoyed at the narrative that all the awareness and work on climate change hasn't done anything. Yes, global CO₂ emissions indeed continue to climb, but we don't know the counterfactual. When I was in grad school, we were on track for 5°C of warming. Now it's below 3°C. That's progress.
