Woke leftie liberal who knows compassion matters. Teacher of tai chi and mindfulness. Former pharmacist. Currently going through cancer treatment. Namaste is my watchword. I honor everyone's humanity even if I disagree with your views.
Kudos @greenparty.org.uk ....that's the kind of behavior I respect .
UPDATE - I have now received a reply from the Greens apologising for the oversight in using my image and quote without consulting me and giving assurance it won't happen again. That's good enough for me, so I won't be taking any further action beyond writing it all up for my Substack
I have yet to receive a reply to this from anyone in the Green Party - my image and quote appear under the title "Everyone Agrees, Labour Are Done!". As the excerpt from the same article quoted here I reproduce below makes clear, I do not "agree". This clearly misrepresents my views.

And thats the sort of thing that shows how inexperienced the Greens are....I acquit them of deliberately doing this...its a rookie mistake.......
Just a quick note to @greenparty.org.uk and @greenpartyhan.bsky.social - I was not consulted on being quoted on your leaflets and I have not endorsed your campaign (or any campaign in this seat). I think this note, like the bar chart next to it, is misleading and out of context.

But we also need to look at who is locked up and why..I have a bee in my bonnet about addicts who get locked up......there must be a better alternative
In 14 years, the Tories only managed a net increase of about 500 places.

And yes, we DO need more spaces.

Lack of investment by the Tories mean we a significantly short.

Even with Labours plans for fewer short sentences and more commuinity based sentence options, more spaces are needed.

BREAKING: Met police to formally launch criminal investigation into allegations that Peter Mandelson leaked Downing Street emails and market sensitive information to child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Pubs are NOT more important than children......
NEW: Reform UK says it would re-impose the two-child benefit cap - scrapped by Labour - for most families to fund £3bn support package for pubs.

Such good news. Since my diagnosis I have averaged one hospital trip each week . Some treatments need DAILY trips. Parents of a child with cancer have enough on their plate without financial stress due to increased travel costs.
Families of children with cancer to have travel costs covered
The government sets aside £10 million a year to help families and young people under 24 access cancer treatment.

Delighted that four more primary schools are getting funded free breakfast clubs (joining Bellfield Juniors).

That's 1,000+ children in the constituency that are set to benefit from free, funded breakfasts from this April.

This goes to the heart of one of my big gripes about reporting on SM and MSM these days. So.much of what is broadcast or written is NOT news i.e a new event. Mandelson resigns is the news. Its a fact. What it may mean for @uklabour.bsky.social is JUST opinion .
One of the biggest issues we have in the media in the UK right now is the blurring between fact & opinion.

News headlines should be facts, not opinions.

Yet @lbc.co.uk news headlines at 10am included the opinion of the Shadow Foreign Secretary as stated in an article she wrote exclusively for LBC.

I want to see Reform lose the by election. But while @uklabour.bsky.social @zackpolanski.bsky.social and liberal democrat voters all agree on that, there is no agreement on they DO want...and that illustrates the problem left leaning parties face under fptp. Plus ca change. Sadly Reform may win
100% agree with George Monbiot.
Would love this to be the first of many victories for @greenparty.org.uk .

They bloody deserve it. So does Britain. 🙏💚
A Green victory in the Gorton and Denton by-election would feel like divine justice.

Small steps in the right direction. Be interested to know what the turnout was
It's a tie
But it's a great start with 95.3% of voters
January 31, 2026 at 11:56 AM
That is a terrifying thought.
Extreme right vs extreme left is good for nobody because most voters are in the centre ground

As an over 70 I protest! We are not all so technically illiterate that we believe everything we read on line. I take pains NOT to be in an echo chamber so I get opposing views....
It’s time to ban social media for the over-60s, restrict their screen-time and implement upper-limit age verification.
This was a minor story on London news this morning - but suspect is a real cautionary (and alarming) tale of an older man getting radicalised online.

I wish them luck. I respect both of them. They have nothing in common with today's Tory party...but hark back to another era I have seen too many moderate new parties fade into insignificance....but I respect what they are trying to do
Tory pair aim to attract 'politically homeless' with new movement
Sir Andy Street and Baroness Ruth Davidson believe they can win back voters who have snubbed the Conservatives.

Need to repost this, as it seems many people have seen the lies and misinformation Zack posted here and have believed him.

But he shared was deliberately misleading...read on below to find out why...and please do share to make sure others realise it too.
Zack Polanski the Greens are sharing misinformatioin about the Gorton and Denton by-election, and ought to be ashamed of themselves.

The chart he has shared on Threads suggests only thee Greens can beat Reform. But it's using vote change data.

To me it seems as if it's the left who would rather sabotage the party. That's the reality of how perspective can make two people see the same thing so differently.
