The assumption that women and girls don't want to or can't learn programming is almost as deplorable as pushing them to use generative AI instead.

Pretty disappointed in both @humblebundle.com and especially in @girlswhocode.bsky.social. Please teach girls how to code, don't push them into generative AI. That won't build their skills. Prioritize foundational programming skills and awaken their interest. "Tired of long days writing code"???

This is going to trigger another round of abuse for this woman but the basic facts appear to be that she was separated at the time and so was the CEO. She recoiled on the jumbotron because her husband was attending the same concert.

i think this is rad
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Huh! I definitely saw that coming! Wild that we are relegated to forever “pilot programs” that show incredible success and are never replicated on larger scales by our government.
I think it's better to admit it. I'm not in a great place mentally. Like - don't get me wrong, I'm not in a *bad* place, more - neck-deep in a pool where I can still touch the bottom on my tip-toes. Occasionally my head dips under but I'm usually able to push myself back up.
