Ugh. Hate coming back to the book after a couple of days off and realizing "oh yeah, that's why I quit where I did." Time to figure this mess out...

Might as well post that picture of my son when he was a baby. The one where he look like he was born playing darts. In 1957. Looking like he just got some bad news about a tractor trailer his nephew was minding for him. With a face like my dad's when I tell him about my podcast.

Boss made a dollar,
Grandad made a dime.
But that was a poem
From a simpler time.
Boss made a thousand,
Gave my Dad a cent.
But that coin paid the mortgage,
Or at least it paid the rent.
Now bosses make a billion,
And give us workers jack.
Then smugly blame society,
For the labor that they lack.
Grandad made a dime.
But that was a poem

Bi representation tends to be invisible and therefore hard to find, so I made a starter pack for bi authors and writers to fill your feed. The first one is already full, but if you'd like to be included in the second, please reply to this post!

Calling all indie writers, avid readers and underground authors! Drop your links to your books and gimme 2025 book recommendations. I got a handful in my last post, but now I feel like calling out more into the bluesky algorithm. Once I finish The Alchemist, I'll start up the recs and review!

So, the horrible busy season at the day job is winding down and I'm starting to peek out at the world again. Which is good, but now I fee like it's my first day on Bluesky again and I don't know where to start...

Omg, why do people think “happy holidays” is a EUPHEMISM for “Christmas?” The point is to be more inclusive, not to *avoid* the word “Christmas.” You’re not actually being more inclusive when you say “hope you had a nice holiday yesterday.”
