And off we go. First film for the #100HorrorMoviesin92Days challenge: Predator 2 (1990). (Part of my plan to knock out some odd-numbered sequels that I somehow never saw.)
Christian: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

Secular: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
What is your favorite "Christian" Christmas song and what is your favorite "Secular" Christmas song?

I will probably always adore "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" for Christian.

And "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" for secular.

Happy Thanksgiving. Alice's Restaurant is almost 60 years old but the message about resisting authority en masse is just as relevant today. 😘

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

This Norwegian stabbur, ca 1700, one of the oldest buildings in the region. Used to store foods & other things off of the ground, away from animals.

I'm not OK, for all the Crone reasons.

We know where her house came from! Its origins, most likely!

Did I go to see Sinners four times (including once in IMAX) during its original theatrical run? Hell yeah, I did. Am I seeing it again during its limited IMAX revival? Hell yeah, I am.

Sure. Just reach down into the depths of my soul and articulate for me why I love baseball, why don't you.
Did not expect one of the best paragraphs I’d read about baseball would come from an Irish newspaper

With #Sinners back in theaters today, thought I'd reshare the article I wrote about the Choctaw Vampire Hunters and why that moment didn't NEED to be centered more even tho we would all love to see more of their story.

Parents, please check your kids’ candy this Halloween. I’ve just found an ancient metal whistle with the inscription “QUIS EST ISTE QUI VENIT" inside a Snickers bar. I blew it and heard a note of infinite distance, and now I’m haunted by a figure in pale, fluttering draperies. Be safe.

I took this picture during the 10/18 #NoKings march in NYC and I can't stop thinking about this awesome person.

I don't know them. But I sure as fuck am not gonna support any loser politician who tries to throw them under the bus, and neither should you.

Well, @realgdt.bsky.social has only bloody done it again, lads. What an absolute triumph. Lush and horrifying, poignant and deep. I'm gonna be sitting with this one for quite a while.
Currently seated for del Toro's #Frankenstein, which will be film no. 89. (I've continued my #100HorrorMoviesin92Days quest, even though I haven't had time to skeet it lately. But I had to post this because I am just so fucking stoked about it.)
