Not far off where I was going with this.

Regina's roads are literally paved where they are, due mostly to Dewdney's bad intentions. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, but the roads in Regina are paved with bad intentions.

As you can see, Regina's roads are literally paved where they are, due mostly to Dewdney's bad intentions. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, but the roads in Regina are paved with bad intentions.

"The decision was very controversial. Dewdney, in addition to being a land surveyor and politician, was a land speculator."

He also was a figure behind the reserve system that subjugated First Nations people, removing their free access to the land and their culture. #TRC

"But in 1882, settlers did just that. Why? Because Lieutenant-Governor Edgar Dewdney selected the railroad’s path and placed the North West Territories’ new capital near land he owned."

That's a bad intention. Personal profit over other considerations.

"The land where #YQR now sits is part of the Treaty 4 area, est. in 1874. Prior to the treaty’s signing, Aboriginal people had followed the buffalo through the area. Regina’s lack of reliable water, shelter or trees made it a poor spot for a permanent settlement."

I suggest that the roads in Regina are paved with bad intentions. Here's why:
Regina's location, the capital of Saskatchewan, is largely a factor of Mr. Dewdney using his considerable political influence in the 19th century to have Regina settlement built where he could profit off land ownership.

You may have heard that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. If so, what is paved with *bad* intentions?

BC is leading 🇨🇦 with major opportunities to deliver prosperity to all of Canada.

We have billions worth of private sector & First Nations led projects, that are ready to go and will create thousands of jobs.

Alberta’s fictional bitumen pipeline achieves none of these things.

Elections Alberta has approved a citizen-initiated petition application to gather signatures in support of the proposal to end public funding to independent/private schools.

Calgary teacher Alicia Taylor says she brought it forward because it could help improve funding for public schools. #AbEd

Instead of praying, I'm going to remind people to get their flu shot, their COVID-19 shot (if they can get one), and wear a respirator in public to keep people like Dolly safe from deadly communicable diseases. Don't just pretend to care, show it with your day to day actions.

Dolly Parton's sister is asking fans to "pray with me" amid the country music icon's health issues

And while in hospital she'll be extra vulnerable to these diseases because most staff and nearly all visitors don't wear respirators.
A hospital killed my cousin with COVID-19 last year.

He's worked for evil on the side, since at least the W Bush administration, when he coined Axis of Evil to invade Iraq and kill possibly a million people. He's an unconvicted monster.

"Look, the President clearly has some kind of dementia" should be how Democrats begin every single comment to reporters these days.

Ruben Gallego on whether Trump is talking to Democrats:

“Look, the President clearly has some kind of dementia, so I think there's a he's probably talking to himself, or think he's talking to a Democrat, but I sincerely doubt that that's actually he's actually physically talking to a Democrat.“

This little twerp, who’s been there a few months, axed two of the lions of WaPo??

Fisher is an investigative champion and had been at The Post for 39 years. Hoffman had been there for 42, and he won a Pulitzer LAST YEAR.

Last week, new WaPo opinion editor Adam O'Neal quietly carried out another purge of staffers, cutting editors and major names like Marc Fisher and David Hoffman, among others.

Meanwhile, he welcomed three conservatives to the section.
