in the wake of that epic world series, i whole heartedly recommend reading jane’s new book to understand what made that series so great
That game 7 is why I want to be commissioner. Baseball at its best, as it was last night, needs to be nurtured, protected, and promoted to a new generation of fans, who will learn how the game marries the exquisite and the excruciating in unparalled and unexpected ways if just let it.
