If you think this can’t happen, remember that of the 125,000 Japanese Americans who were interned during WWII for years without charge or trial, two-thirds were U.S. citizens. Including me.

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

This bill will cost at least two million dollars to implement additional internet filters, when our libraries and schools already apply internet filters as the law requires.

I learned this week that you can put our troops' lives in danger, compromise our national security, and violate the Espionage Act. And the government will do nothing.

But if you write an editorial for your school newspaper that Trump doesn't like, you will be abducted on the street and disappeared.

Marco Rubio just made the argument, bold faced, not a mistake an intentional statement, that at any time the US can revoke your visa and then you are instantly here illegally and they can arrest you, deport you, torture you, all without any due process.

That means the United States is simply unsafe

Now it goes to the House - so call your Member of Congress to ask how they’ll vote!

Everyone should take a moment to remind themselves of what the Presidential Records Act is.
This is a key component:
Establishes preservation requirements for official business conducted using non-official electronic messaging accounts...

They used Signal, because they didn't want a record.

Yes, tariffs are a tax, but people don't mention often enough that they are a regressive tax. Taxes on consumer goods tax the poor at a higher rate, as basic necessities are a much larger part of their spending.

If food goes up by 20%, it is a tax on the poor. Rich people won't even notice.
