The attacks on Labour from BBC News are now so relentless, day after day, minute after minute, putting headline negativity on absolutely anything they say, or do.

Are they now the official opposition?

Plus sides to today: Two-child benefit scrapped. Largely progressive tax implications. Good market reaction. No big spending cuts. Nightmare prospect of cutting funding to net zero etc avoided. It's a left-wing budget. Those who say there's no difference between Labour and Tories are bananas.

Or have they ? Lots of people on here are sharing it 🤷‍♂️
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise

Home invasions.
Child sex crimes.
Homicide.

Just a couple things that some of the 1500+ January 6 defendants have been convicted of since Trump released them back onto our streets.

The GOP isn't the party of law and order.

They're the party of lawlessness and violence.

Gove knew Johnson wasn’t fit to be prime minister

He said so publicly

This is just mealy mouthed nonsense, trying to make up for the countless bad decisions he & his mates made

I'm guessing the BBC edited this together to give the misleading impression he was threatening violence towards Congressional opponents.

Just wilful performative cruelty that is entirely out of step with the majority of British people.

How many Labour MPs got into politics in order to vote for stealing jewellery off of people seeking refuge from war and persecution?

Absolutely this.
Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

The BBC should now broadcast Trump's entire speech, uncut, at a peak viewing time to show that he did indeed incite the mob to invade Congress.

Want to know why the prisons system seems to be suddenly falling apart?

Well, it's not sudden. It's just suddenly being REPORTED. This rot was a deliberate policy choice, and I kept the receipts. Because I'm not the BBC.

(A note on what Tories did to cause this, from The Decade In Tory)

I was surprisingly bummed. I secretly hoped he was working behind the scenes with his evil villain friends to commit human rights violations against Hair Furor.
