Oh heck, my time to shine. There is some cool art history involved in this! Vatican, as part of Counter-Reformation agenda, had a campaign in 16th century to remove dicks, replace them with fig leaves and *store original removed part*.
TLDR: Vatican had a basement(?) full of dicks, and still might.
