Zuckerburg is paying $8B to settle a lawsuit by Facebook shareholders for failing in his oversight duties in the Cambridge Analytica crime.

A reminder that $8B is only 3% of his net worth.

Another reminder that “If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only exists for the lower class.”

Zionism is the single greatest threat to free speech in the western world today because of the way western governments and institutions have been aggressively stomping out criticism of Israel and anti-genocide activism since 2023 at the urging of Israel lobbyists.

I really like Mallory. But the "access" to healthcare centrist crap doesn't cut it anymore. I have "access" to all kinds of stuff I cannot afford. We need Medicare for All and public health experience! So Dr El Sayed is the best choice.

We already have a Slotkin. Why do we need another? I prefer candidates that aren't tied to PACs or AIPAC. I'll stick with @abdulelsayed.bsky.social, thanks.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

Black father kills a man who tried to rape his daughter & media posts his solo mug shot.

White father murders his wife, shoots step child, kills himself, & media posts his smiling picture with family.

Make no mistake, this is how media normalizes white supremacy & extremism. We must reject it.

My 3rd favorite book in 2025 is very different from number 4:

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

This was on my list of classics that I’m reading through, and to be honest I was kind of dreading it. I thought it was going to be a very difficult read but it was SO good. Who knew! 😉

more confirmation that lurking clearly behind this idea of the “heritage american” is a straightforward contempt for the actual history and tradition of this country, such that vermeule has to hallucinate a framework to justify his desire to jettison the clear meaning of the 14th amendment
I had missed this latest delirium by Adrian Vermeule on birthright citizenship

'Common law?! NAH, it's the Roman law of adoption that should govern the interpretation of the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution!'

WHO GIVES A DAMN?

It’s a public service, right there in the name. It exists as a public good for all the people in this country. It’s not supposed to turn a profit, you dolts.

Go audit the Pentagon and see what kind of return on investment we’re getting there.
