Figures out this week show AGL is charging more to households for electricity and gas than it does businesses. If households got the deal businesses did AGL: customers would save on average $840 a year in gas and $957 on electricity - $1,797 a year.

How is this fair? #auspol

The Murdoch media has thus far been allowed to divide and provoke with impunity, and this can't go on. .. #auspol

Morrison built the shit sandwich and wrapped it with foreign affairs cling wrap. Hard to unwrap. But the money spent so far is very small, just enough to stop it being unwrapped. I have been against it from the start but now I see more strategically. I trust Anthony

That's the poker game. The defendants offer so much money (+ covering all legal fees) that the plaintiff runs a high risk of 'winning' a lower sum of money and becoming responsible for *all* legal fees. That would not be a 'win'. Hugh Grant covered it well when his case was settled last year:
Why has Hugh Grant settled his phone hacking claim against the Sun?
The actor said he wanted to fight on – but the size of an offer from News Group made it financially risky to continue
