This is the insanity of the current Labour approach. You are kneecapping the economy by slashing immigration to appease voters who hover between Tory and Reform, and yet they don’t even believe your numbers anyway…plus you’ve just alienated your actual supporters
Two-thirds of UK voters wrongly think immigration is rising, poll finds.

Net migration to the UK fell by more than two-thirds to a post-pandemic low in the year ending June 2025, but 67% of the people polled thought it had increased

It’s time we started taking Trump’s threats seriously.

God forbid if Greenland is attacked, the UK should immediately sanction the Trump Organization and think twice about whether we want US forces on our soil at all.

Be careful, it was said that a Carnyx properly blown could loosen the bowels of those hearing it. Mind you that might be a myth.
I'm going to have to add Carnyx to my list of things I will need to own.

ROBIN OF SHERWOOD (1984): Michael Praed was The Hooded Man in Richard Carpenter's dark ITV drama, which fully leant into the mythology of the character. Magic, demons, the supernatural, pagan myth, and Robin's Obi Wan Kenobi, Herne the Hunter, all featured. Still the best Robin Hood ever!

Keir Starmer should condemn Trump’s illegal action in Venezuela.

Maduro is a brutal and illegitimate dictator, but unlawful attacks like this make us all less safe.

Trump is giving a green light to the likes of Putin and Xi to attack other countries with impunity.

Good interview in the paper, this. I think Sadiq is right: London 'needs' to be less successful than it is for a bunch of political arguments here in the UK to work, hence the fictions being invented about it:

Rightwing attacks on one of the world’s most visited cities at odds with reality, says mayor

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.
