Shane Getson openly lied in the Legislature this week.

He said on multiple occasions that the Supreme Court of Canada had said that possession of Child Sexual Abuse Materials is "OK".

The Supreme Court said no such thing.

This is a great point

Universal healthcare is the real, tangible service Canadians, and Albertans get in return for paying our taxes

I can guarantee Albertans will pay the same in taxes but we will get less

& this will negatively impact our health & livelihoods

Hey Alberta... if you want access to peditricians for your kids get ready to pay.
Govt will keep the substantial taxes you are paying, plus you will have to pay out of pocket THOUSANDS simply for access..

This post details what's at stake in the UCP's invocation of the Charter's notwithstanding clause to override the rights of trans and gender diverse youth. The government had other options, and to use the nuclear option of s 33 calls into question its confidence in its ability to justify its laws.

There will, unfortunately, be people cheering this on. First, we get rid of the rights of labour unions. Second, we get rid of the rights of transgender people. Who is the next group to use their rights? Maybe that third, or fourth, or fifth group will include you.
