Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!

Trying to think of a way to say this without it sounding cheesy but one thing about Tolkien that means a lot to me is that the darkness of the night only makes the Light of the Stars shine more brightly.

We must must must resist the idea that generative AI is inevitable. It is not inevitable. People don't really like it. It doesn't do its job well. It removes the humanity from one of the most human-forward things. Not to mention it is an environmental nightmare. Keep banging the drum. Say no to AI.
