Operation Pull Up: Protestors interrupted Sunday service at Cities Church in MN after it's discovered that its pastor, David Easterwood, is also ICE- named in lawsuit for aggressive tactics. Protesters disrupted a St. Paul church service on Sunday after activists determined one of the pastors works as the acting director of ICE's field office in St. Paul. David Easterwood, a pastor at Cities Church in St. Paul, is named in a pending class action lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Minnesota for aggressive tactics used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). When activists discovered Easterwood is a local pastor, they decided to mobilize, they said. "This man is a wolf in sheep's clothing, masquerading as a pastor," said Nekima Levy Armstrong, a local attorney, activist and reverend. Easterwood was not leading Sunday's service. Lead pastor Jonathan Parnell was confronted by the activists. In a video of the protest, Parnell can be heard telling activists, "Shame on you." Messages left with Parnell were not returned Sunday. Attempts to reach Easterwood also were not successful Sunday. The federal government announced an investigation of possible criminal violations.

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

ICE agents are, simply put, fucking clowns. According to The Atlantic, they receive 47 days of training — in honor of Trump, the 47th president, naturally. Many of them, also, can barely read or write, apparently. The ones I spent the weekend following around didn’t even have proper uniforms, with some wearing sneakers. In Minnesota. In January. These dipshits are also wearing camo in the snow. They clearly do not have any training when it comes to their own weapons either. Multiple times over the last few days, I watched officers fire pepper spray balls at the feet of protestors barely a few inches away from them. These weapons are basically paintball guns full of concentrated pepper spray. So when they hit a target, they explode into the air. Which meant ICE agents regularly ended up poisoning themselves with their own weapons. I also watched two agents ask each other if a canister they were about to fire at the crowd was tear gas or a stun grenade. (It ended up being a stun grenade that then ignited the tear gas they had already shot at us, which started a fire in the street that a protestor had to help them put out.)

This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.

This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.

I think they know this is bad. Really bad.
The way ICE officers approached the vehicle involved in today's shooting was counter to their training, a senior Department of Homeland Security official told NBC News. The official said ICE officers are trained: — never to approach a vehicle from the front; — to approach vehicles or possibly armed people in a “tactical L” 90-degree angle to prevent injury or cross-fire; — not to shoot at a moving vehicle; — only to use force if there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death. ICE officers are also instructed that firing at a vehicle will not make it stop moving in the direction of the officer.
