Gonna repost this too, for good measure.
One of the biggest questions for any WBD deal is whether antitrust regulations will allow it to go through, and Paramount’s declaration of an attempted hostile takeover heavily emphasizes the hurdles that Netflix’s acquisition could face.

Let’s make sure to include this key piece of conversation:
On BlueSky, I’m seeing discourse on whether or not it’s ethical for either and only on BlueSky and Reddit I saw this article from Axios.
In social media on meta, I keep seeing people revolt against Netflix, which is telling me something.
Jared Kushner's involvement was "not mentioned in Paramount's press release on Monday morning about its $108 billion bid, nor were participating sovereign wealth funds from Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Qatar."

fancy that
Jared Kushner is part of Paramount's hostile bid for Warner Bros. Discovery
Paramount is telling WBD shareholders that it has a smoother path to regulatory approval than does Netflix.

A few years ago, Bill Nye the science guy debated creationist Ken Ham about evolution. The last question was "what would change your mind?"

Bill Nye said "Evidence."

Ken Ham said "Nothing can possibly change my mind about this."

I think about that a lot.

ALARM!

Russia sees its Arctic not as a shared space but as its own trade path for Eurasian links, set by its own rules.

Sanctions have cut the speed, but not the goal. Home-grown tools, money from Asia, and nuclear icebreakers form a strong base.
