Just read Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary in three days. (It’s been a while since I read a new book that quickly.) ADORED IT. Just. It made my heart happy, ESPECIALLY the ending—!!! UGH. GOOD BOOK IS GOOD.

Is there a food or drink that is nostalgic for you? I'll go first: drinking Sprite (esp. out of a can) reminds me of summers and spring breaks at home. My siblings and I spent weekday mornings at our grandparents' house. When my grandmother got home from her part-time job, she took us back home.

They should remake TRON: Legacy but make it PG-13 so that way Sam Flynn can say “shit.” Also so someone can say “fuck.” (I haven’t decided who should get the Hypothetical Fuck. Maybe Tron? “Fuck you, I fight for the Users” sounds badass.) (then again, Tron is too much of a gentleman to say “fuck.”)

I saw TRON: Ares this afternoon. My expectations were in the upper reaches of Hell and it only *just* cleared them. Which is to say: it sucked, but it did not ignite my incandescent rage. It just sucked, and it had absolutely nothing interesting to say about anything in the TRON universe.

Okay. I’ve listened to the TRON: Ares soundtrack, and it’s pretty good. Like, it’s definitely another good score from Reznor and Ross. But.

I have had a shitty-ass week with not getting enough sleep and not feeling good about anything and it looks like it’s going to be topped off with another evening where I look at my day and discover I have squandered its potential YET AGAIN bc my brain couldn’t work up to Actually Doing Things. Look I know the Steven Universe + Uncle Grandpa crossover ep is not in SU’s canon, but goddamn if it isn’t the funniest episode ever. There are so many funny lines, and Pearl’s over the top OOC-ness is hysterical. (“THAT’S NOT MY BABY” is iconic, okay??? I am not taking notes at this time.)

Rewatching Steven Universe and really enjoying it. I’m in the middle of Season 1, and having Lion 3 and Alone Together back to back is just an insanely good pairing. God I love this show.
