It turns out that this morning's visitors were a flock of blue tits! (photo by @robhainescreative.space)

(the marsh tits had been definitely visiting our feeder prior, as we have photos of them, so we assumed as much until Rob checked his camera this afternoon and saw the colors up close!)

They're so tiny and cute! I've seen an occasional blue tit around here but not for a while. Hopefully they'll see what a good time the marsh tits are having and visit more regularly!

Our new birdfeeder was quiet for a couple months, then one or two marsh tits arrived. We think they might have been scouts bc this morning their whole family showed up, over a dozen of them!

Marsh tits are in the red for UK conservation, so it feels extra nice to be feeding a whole flock of them 🥹

I've heard horror stories about Domestika over the years, but didn't say anything because I don't want people to think I'm just bashing a competitor.

Instructors need to be treated well it's clear Domestika didn't do that. If anyone affected is looking for a home for their courses, reach out.

If you happen to be canceling streaming services for whatever reason, maybe throw a few bucks to a creative's Patreon or Ko-fi. Many have monthly tiers starting as low as $1, which may not sound like much, but if they get enough sign-ups, it could be life-changing money for those living on the edge.
