I’m going to keep it real and hope I don’t get accused of overstating the issue; children’s liberation is the key to the future you want. The active, and often dismissed, oppression of children is near the root of what ails us as a nation.
I think Baldwin’s quote about “the children are all ours” can be expanded into a very powerful revolutionary praxis. Take care of other people’s children, not just your own. Don’t define yourself as “childless,” the children need you. A community approach to children is central to liberation

I think you can recognize Assad was a bad guy who did bad things while also understanding power vacuums almost always benefit US interests or in the very least the interests of the military industrial complex which is effectively synonymous with “US interests”

It’s always so fascinating how domestic policing functions the same way that imperialism does. Proliferating weapons is profitable and creates justification for the institutions responsible. “Destabilize, intervene, plunder” is the imperialist playbook, all our struggles are connected

Dealing with multiple temper tantrums this morning as the kids in my class struggle to share a whoopee cushion, the one who has it is laughing hysterically with power while her peers cry as she makes fart sounds. Sometimes the chaotic moments are funny too lol
