Wow. What a last line. "I'm Andor. Andor Skywalker." In many ways the whole show was just building up to that moment.

This version was destroyed nearly 100 years later by Allied bombing in 1942. Luckily Leutze had made a copy, identical except for being much larger. A literary novelist could make hay with these fun!facts!

Dachshund #32. I'm drawing a dachshund every day until THE LISTENERS comes out on June 3rd.

Leutze completed the original painting in Germany, using American tourists and students as models (I guess to accurately capture that revolutionary spirit).

They were careless people, Tom and Daisy- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.

As someone who spent his childhood in such camps, I implore you: We must not let history repeat.

Fascism has come before to America. It destroyed so many lives. We can resist it today and not repeat the mistakes of the past. / end

In the stage adaptation of "School of Rock," Principal Mullins sings the heartfelt power ballad 'Where Did the Rock Go?' This baffled audiences, as The Rock isn't particularly hard to find, and can in fact be seen in multiple films per year.

In "Wicked," Elphaba ends the first act with the showstopping number, 'Defying Gravity.' Despite being seen as an anthem of self-empowerment, the song is actually a quiet protest against the selection of the film "Gravity" (2013) as a Best Picture nominee.
