A country that just staved off an attempted coup and barely preserved its own democracy thought that the way to win favor with the current U.S. president was to give him a golden crown, defying the 7 million people who took to the streets for the No Kings Protest.

I understand feeling despair but this is a deeply irresponsible thing to say to ninety one thousand people. throughout history people have faced harder battles and worse odds. I am not saying things are good but if you have a large platform it is important to not let your despair turn contagious

So Stepson needs to get his driver’s license switched over to New Mexico, which is fine. We go to the local DMV franchise location. He has passport, social security card, old license, the lot. But they cannot use one of the forms of proof of residence, so we go home.
