In January, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services will roll out a pilot program that will use AI to review Medicare patients' requests for care.

Insurers will get rewarded when they deny care.

What could go wrong?

Dear male White House reporters,

The next time Trump insults one of your female colleagues, if one of you doesn’t interject and say “Excuse me, sir, but fuck you.” God is going to lose his mind.

I may have infected several friends with a pirate Christmas sea shanty earworm. Yes, it's a thing. I'll let you decide if you want to self-infect by looking it up on YouTube. 😂 #forewarned

It's vile to kill people with no actual legal justification and also vile to joke about killing those people.
Trump: "The problem is nobody wants to go fishing anymore. They don't want to get in boats. They don't want anything to do with boats. I think we've destroyed the boat market. Other than that it's been very effective."

David Ellison reportedly told Trump he’d make “sweeping changes” to CNN if Paramount’s takeover of Warner Bros. gets approved.

Meanwhile, Jared Kushner and three Middle East countries are backing the bid — while Kushner advises Trump on foreign policy.

Corruption on display.

I’m furiously sick of this. Other reporters: where the hell are you?
The President of the United States has been verbally abusing female journalists for weeks

Quiet Piggy
You’re ugly inside & out
Are you a stupid person?
You’re the most obnoxious reporter. A terrible reporter

Enough. The White House press corps must him out

Make him explain himself or walk out

I'm Christian, but one of my favorite things in the December holiday season is listening to a Jewish acapella group sing about how to make latkes for Hanukkah. Like, that's the whole song. Go look them up, they're terrific. Maccabeats, Latke Recipe.

"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Incarcerated members of the LGBTQ community already face heightened risks for physical and sexual violence, and this directive to disregard the law will only put them further at risk.

DOJ orders prison inspectors to stop considering LGBTQ safety standards

It is both deeply ironic and profoundly funny that all these overconfident maga chud dudebros are convinced they'll be at the top of a meritocratic system, when in reality they're actually the ones who've benefited most from what they themselves characterize as non-meritocratic factors.
Ending DEI practices in college admissions will expose an uncomfortable truth. Women now outperform men academically.

If universities stop trying to gender balance incoming classes but instead admit based on merit, they’ll reject men at higher rates than they do today.
Trump’s attack on DEI may hurt college men, particularly White men
The Trump administration’s ban on diversity, equity and inclusion also targets gender. The ban may impact gender balancing practices that often benefit college men.

160 years ago today, the 13th Amendment was ratified to end slavery, with one major exception: punishment for a crime.

The legacy of slavery lives on as people behind bars are still coerced into working for mere pennies or nothing at all.

It's long overdue to abolish slavery in all its forms.
