In 2023 en 2024 zijn honderden gezenderde steurtjes van dertig cm uitgezet. Dit heeft ons geleerd dat ze via de haven van Rotterdam de wateren ten zuiden van de Maasvlakte opzoeken!

The Norway Lobster Nephrops norvegicus also has planktonic larvae which grow quite big before settling. They are instantly recognisable because of their huge spoiler-like telson! #Plankton #MarineLife

Moths of varying sizes, shapes and colors are painted on a white background with shadows beneath them so it looks like they're ready to fly off. They range from the large Polyphemus moth to tiny micro moths.
