I don't know what is more depressing. That the BBC seems to have no clue what democratic socialism is or that someone who comments on politics for a living thinks it's the same as communism.

Enraging to have grown up around working class black people who came to the UK and broke themselves for it only to be told that their host nation still has “legitimate concerns” about them being there.

This has all happened so many times, it's amazing that centrist governments still think it's worth trying.
Labour are telling voters that Farage is right about immigration, when they should be challenging his lies and his racism head on.

…There has to be a policy response to address voters anxieties, but in ceding the intellectual ground so absolutely to his opponents and setting himself and the government up for likely failure, the risk for the PM is that he may well empower Farage even further.
