It will always baffle me how easily people will believe that the poor, the sick, the marginalized, and the immigrant are the cause for all their problems, rather than the people in the most powerful positions in their country who refuse to fix problems and exploit them instead.

If you want to get money for them, use a consignment (re-sale) shop for the most valuable stuff. If you want them to generate maximum revenue for charity, donate to a high end thrift shop. If you just want them gone, find the thrift shop closest to you.

On Monday, I'm talking with Redwood Materials (the battery recycling company) about their new second-life battery program. They're collecting batteries &, before recycling them, placing them in grid-storage applications that can use their remaining energy.
